We have now expanded our Pony/Farm Camp opportunities!

We will now be offering the option of one-day camps where you child can join any day(s) of the week-long session for either the full-day or half-day enrollment during our Winter, February and Spring breaks. In early January, I will also email a calendar of our 2008 ongoing one-day and after school camps and our 2008 Summer Schedule.

Winter Break Pony Camps

Session One:
Monday, December 17th - Friday, December 21st, 2008

 

Session Two:
Monday, December 31st - Friday, January 4th, 2008

 

Times & Costs:
Full Week Day Camps: 9am-3pm - $500.00/week
Half-Day Week Camps: 9am-Noon or Noon-3pm - $350.00/week
One-Day Camps: 9am-3pm - $140.00/day
1/2 Day One-Day Camps: 9am-Noon or Noon-3pm - $85.00/day

One-time sibling discount: $20.00
Before/After Care: $10.00/hour

2008 Ongoing Pony/Farm Camps
Coming in January we will be offering ongoing one-day and after school pony/farm camp opportunities throughout the year.

One-Day Camps:
Our one-day camps are so much fun. Our mornings will consist of feeding, watering and cleaning the animals/ponies areas. We'll then break for midmorning snack and present our special baby animal of the day. We'll then groom and tack up our ponies ride. After a lunch break we will do an art project, learn about more pony and equipment care, and finish off the day with untacking the ponies and feeding and watering all our friends again. It is an action packed day! The kids just love it!!

Location:

Our Winter/February/Spring camps will take place at our Pastorino Farms location where we will have access to an indoor riding arena in the event of inclement weather. Our camps will focus on riding, pony care and the usual fun-filled caring of the farm animals that the children so love.

Farm News

A very special highlight of our fall/winter season camps have been our baby piglets. You may remember Micky our male pig who was a part of our 2007 summer camp program? Well he is the proud father of thirty-one baby piglets!!! Four of our sows gave birth and half of them look just like him...pink and black and white with blue eyes!! They are just adorable. They all need lots of love and socialization while they are looking for their forever homes. Less than two months old, they are the size of baby puppies and watching them nurse and having the chance to hold a tiny piglet in their arms is something your child will remember forever.
